Headlight is everything you need, other than a spare headlight. Oh, and a book and extra batteries.

Red filters are great for preserving night vision but I don't think they're nearly as necessary during spot/stalk as stand hunting

there are little portable accordion-style lanterns which are solar-powered as well. weigh and cost nothing. Find them on amazon kizen led lantern for ref

Used petzl tactikka for years, great lights lasted really well. Bought a Princeton Tec on clearance at Sierra the other day and it is awesome, dimming ability and super bright. Cant go wrong with Petzl or Princeton Tec.

Two headlamps(gotta have a backup) and a lil Black Diamond lantern. Runs on 3 AAA but as long as you don’t run it all night I’ve gotten away w just one set of batteries for a week hunt
