Lightweight binos for timber and woods deer.

A hunting buddy of mine has a set of Monarch 7 8x30 he used a few times and then changed where he was hunting so bought a full size pair of binos. I am going to take a look at those and if I like them I will probably go that route. These will used in a very limited way as my 8.5x42 ELs will still be my primary binos and used 90% of the time. For $200 I will throw the dice on the monarch 7s.

Kowa just announced an updated BDII line of x32 and x42 binoculars with increased FOV which are supposed to be similar in optical quality to the Meopta Meopros at a lower price. Should be available next month

Also agree with Maven B3's. 16oz and really good glass and FOV. I love being able to just throw in a pocket or use ultralight harness without issue. Will be my go to this year for anything requiring cutting weight.
