This must be what your finding. Honestly I wouldnt sweat it. Just go and bring your meat back. I have never been questioned about bringing anything back from Canada

Yes that's where I read it. I just got off the phone with a gentleman from USDA and he confirmed it. He even agreed with me that it's a crazy rule
