Came in today. Damn. I stole that thing. Perfect hunter orange. Perfect fit. I guess a blind hog does find an acorn every once in a while.

I would not hesitate to get that down jacket w/o the hood. Sizing is normal. I got the XL (I usually wear L but have long arms) and it's perfect to layer underneath without being huge. Orange is a legit hunter orange, so you could use this as an outer layer if you want/need to.
