Men's LL Bean Cresta Hiker, Size 13M. Used. Price drop- 50 TYD.
All leather construction. These were made in Italy. Quality construction and materials. The leather has very shallow surface marks, but no deep gouges or scrapes. I think this would be considered heavy/stiff for a backpacking boot. They are noticeably stiffer than Salomon Quests, but i doubt they compare to Schnees or Crispi for stiffness.
I bought these used on Ebay.
Wear/damage-The leather is in really good shape. The sole is in good shape, but the back outside edge of both heels is disproportionately worn down. The previous owner was a heel dragger. The 2nd photo shows this.
The aftermarket insoles are labeled Sorbothane. They sell for $30, and are in decent shape. They both have a crack along the front seam that transitions between one foam density to another. This does not impact comfort or use.
