I am just starting to get my new Insanity CPXL dialed in and am finally to the point that I'm happy with the upgrade over my D340. I figured I would see how she groups at 100 yards, which is my favorite yardage to practice at.

Specs: BT CPXL @ 61# / 31" DL. Shooting .300 spine GT Velocity Pro arrows with 4 fletch blazers, 50 grain brass insert and a Firenock. The arrows are 455 grains total weight, flying 290 fps. And yes, that's a Whisker Biscuit.

Here's take #1

It didn't go down like I would have hoped, so I tried it one more time. Here's take #2.

Well, I think I will stick with hunting and shooting my bow for fun. Maybe someday I will shoot 2" groups regularly at 100 yards like all the pro's on A-T.

290 FPS out of a 61# bow pushing a 455 grain arrow is very impressive.

I know. I have my monkey arms and Crackers to thank for that. Not to mention one of the fastest 7" BH bows on the planet.

Here's the difference between my D340 and the CPXL. Both are Crackerized.

Insanity CPXL @ 61# / 31"
455 grain arrow @ 290 fps
Equates to 84.99 ft. Lbs. of KE

Destroyer 340 @ 62# / 30.5"
455 grain arrow @ 284 fps
Equates to 81.51 ft. Lbs. of KE

Both bows had d-loops and 1/4" Meta peeps installed when the speeds were measured on my chrono with a light kit.
