Looking for Buddies to Chase Elk with this Fall in CO

Hi everyone! I just moved to Colorado from SE Pennsylvania and I am looking to do some archery elk hunting this fall. I have been bow hunting my entire life but only for white tails. I am just wondering if anyone has any tips on how to meet some hunting buddies that I can go chase elk with!

What part of Colorado did you move to?

Several years ago I moved 8 hrs from my home. Started going to the local archery shop and hanging out. Met some guys who were like minded. Also went to local 3D shoots. Put yourself out there. But I’ve always been leery of who I went in the mountains with. Can be good, but there are some horror stories out there on people not pulling their weight or being completely incapable. The mountains aren’t the place to figure out you can’t get along with someone IMO. Good luck.
