Haha! I actually had this very misunderstanding with my sister (who lives in NYC). I was telling her we had camped and hunted on BLM land... and she was like: "Wait, BLM has a bunch of land out west? And they let people camp and hunt on it? WTF?" Took us about 7 minutes to figure out our confusion...
