Lost my first pack horse yesterday

Lost the ole man yesterday,this little guy had more heart than most horses twice his size,been packing him for 25yrs,I dont know how many elk he packed but it was alot

That;s why i stopped keeping pets, its hard to see them go.

over the years 3 of my packers have been in their 20's. they usually get pretty solid by then. one we did raise some mules out of. but they did not ride great and made great packers to I kept them till I thought they were likely to be a problem then sold them.

heck last year I gave one away. he was super solid and only 19. he was given to me cause he rode rough.
