Lowa big horn boot replacement

Has anyone found a comparable boot to the lowa bighorn, I absolutely love mine but they are coming to the end of the road, does anyone know why they quit making them???

My favorite Mountain boot of all time. I bought three pair when I heard they were done and have one good pair left. I’ve tried a ton of different boots since and will say my favorite next to these are Hoffman Explorers. (Have to get ”wides” in Explorers though). The Lowa Hunter EVO also has worked for me.

I had heard at one time that they had tons of warranty issues with the rand on the Bighorns. All three of mine have had rand issues, but I just “Free Sole” them and go.

If its just the sole, they can probably be re-soled. I recently posted here about my results with a pair of Asolo's. They are like new again. The leather was still in pretty good shape though.
