This type of stuff NEVER happens to me. Got lucky and drew a Controlled Muzzleloader Tag for early Oct. My current muzzleloader is way too modern for Idaho regs. I'd rather just buy a different one. Shoot me some suggestions? My research always starts with Rokslide. Thanks guys!

I have two T/C renegades. Both haves scopes for back when I lived in Indiana. I was trying to draw a muzzleloader hunt also and would have just swapped out the barrels with a green mnt LRH barrel.

T/C Hawkens are easy to find and inexpensive. I've hunted ID for years with a pair of them in .54 (Renegade model) outfitted with peep sights. Most, if not all, have twist rates in the middle range (1-48 for the. 54's)- Hornady Great Plains bullets stabilize very well.
