Someone mentioned NightForce. They do not grind their own glass. It’s sourced from Japan on the higher end scopes. Not sure on the lower end stuff. They do a lot of assembly in Idaho, but source glass elsewhere.

That's really no different than Leupold. Leupold sources a lot of their glass from outside the states.

Man, I watched a thing the other day about how they can technically still call whiskey and other spirits a certain age even if it has been cut. That was an eye opener as to the legal definition of "aged" spirits.

Theres actuall a very rich history with Tabasco and hunting waterfowl on avery island. Somewhere (maybe youtube) there's a great short video detailing some of the highpoints

Unfortunately my list is much smaller than I would like it to be....

Sage fly-rods (a couple), Simms G-4 chest waders & boots (and a bunch of accessories), Seek Outside 4-man and medium stove, numerous Leupold scopes, Talley rings, Nemo Rif & tensor pad, my go-to Benchmade knife, all my reloading stuff and components, a bunch of odds and ends and misc stuff...and a sht load of Mountain House meals!

My "other list" is much longer, but I really wish it wasn't. I've tried to buy American over the years, but I reluctantly surrendered to what appeared to be an inevitable change. I'd LOVE to see that become more balanced...and I am more motivated than ever to try harder.

Great list! Henry rifles, that's the only one that hasn't been mentioned that I can think of.
Someone listed Black Rifle coffee, the only coffee grown in the US that I'm aware of is Hawaiian (and it's prohibitively expensive IMO), everything else is imported.

Yeah, that doesn't apply to single barrels only the blends. Basically it's the age of the youngest spirit in the bottle on a blend. You can have a 12 year old blend, that could have 15 or 16 year old spirit in the mix. They can stretch a vintage that way lol

Great input from everyone. Would be great if some of the technical hunting clothing companies would make their stuff here. That’s about the only thing that’s missing from this list.
