I called the company trying to find some black hornets and Mike Sohm, the owner, answered the phone. Helluva guy. Ended up talking him for a bit and was able to locate a retailer that still had some in stock. Screwed em on, no adjustments needed and off I go. A short time later I drove one through an elk. The Hornets are tough. 80lb bow slinging a 573 grain arrow, at 6 yards I shot dead through his sternum and the arrow stopped at his hip joint. Only damage to the head was a nick off one of the bleeder blades. Looked like a crime scene. Massive but short blood trail. I’m sold. Great company, great product.3B740EBE-988D-456B-BF2E-C1A8E17C9CFF.jpeg89E4FFC2-1385-4220-8910-77218AD02C0E.jpeg55680A68-5F4F-44A3-A4ED-5FED6C633951.jpeg

Mike’s a good guy. I dealt with him several times back in the early days when its was either glue-onS or glue-ons with adapters, no stingers, etc. Used to buy rejects from him by the pound.

Switched to stingers a few years ago (just before the black hornets came out) and have been extremely happy. Would love to try the black hornets, but just havent had a reason to switch.

Killed several turkeys over the years with bullheads as well.
