Mail Delays from US to Canada?

Does anyone have any insight on mail delays?

I sent a check to BC from the US back on Feb 12th or 13th.....wondering how long it is taking to get there lately.....

I sent mail to a friend in Ontario end of the summer last year. Took a long long time before he received it. From Michigan so normally would take a week, it took 2 months I believe.

The last few things I ordered out of the USA have taken a long time to get to me in BC. Canada post is almost useless.

If USPS has anything to do with it expect delays. There have been multiple things over the last few months that I could have literally walked it to it's destination faster. Complete incompetence

I've sent 2 payments via USPS into Newfouldland over the last year. 1st one never made it and was lost. Being "certified" & "Registered" means nothing once it crosses the border...Had to resend via UPS. 2nd was sent via USPS and took 6 weeks. Use UPS or Fedex only if you want to be able to track it.
