Most people here are probably too smart to have been grunts. 1812 Tank crewman with 2 trips to Iraq. Good times lol

Scored too high on asvab and turned down by the corps went into army. One Iraq and back to conduct training l.

My Dad was in the marines and served during Koren War

I was 11B in the national guard. When I decided to go active duty in marines I think I had gotten a little smarter and went the mechanical option which my recruiter said would get me aircraft mechanic. Now we all know a recruiter would never lie right. Wound up a 3522 rebuild mechanic which I never spent any time in a rebuild shop due to C.O.not releasing me to a rebuild shop.so I showed him went to the MSG program. Lived the high life.
