Mathews Grip

Can anyone tell me how to remove the stock wood mathews grip without damaging the riser? Advise would be much appreciated!

Heat gun...Warm up, pull off.

heat and more heat then pull/pry from bottom and straight back. Don't pry sides b/c they are very thin.
