Did anyone get their hands on one of these today? I shot a few arrows out of the 31.5 ATA VXR and I liked it. Really not a huge difference from last year, but I will say for a 31.5” bow it handles well and I got a good string angle thanks to those giant cams.

The riser is actually longer than the traverse but the limbs are more parallel. For anyone hoping the Traverse would get switch weight cams I believe you’ll be satisfied with the 31.5”.

I put a deposit on it, and at the shops request, let them demo it for the next week while I’m on a rifle hunt.

How does the new Green color look? Looks like an awesome bow!
The green looks really good.
It’s a very smooth bow. A little quieter than the Vertix and a slightly smoother draw as well. Tunes just as easy. Holds good on target. With the longer A2A it should be another great selling bow.

Mathews spends a few years with toy length ATA bows 28" or so...then boom, reintro a 31.5" ATA and say it holds better. Of course a longer ATA holds better. Pure marketing. Purely playing people.

Then you have Hoyt with their $1700 price tag. WTH. $1700 for a bow?

It's a more refined machine in every area compared to my Halon 32. I tried the VXR 31.5 and put my money down on one immediately. I'll use my Halon 32 as my backup bow now. Ordered the 65# mod for target and the 75# mod for hunting both with 80% let off.

The riser is about a 35" ATA bow, holds amazing and it's even quieter than the Vertix. Here's an overlay on the Traverse 33 ATA vs the VXR 31.5

@StopMakingSense - Can you overlay the H32 on top of the VXR for reference? The risers, limb pockets, and limbs, look damn near identical except for the 4 inches on top and bottom of the riser.

Do not shoot this bow. I made that mistake last night. Who needs a Traverse?

I was shooting a RX-1 and I really liked it. And then, like a complete idiot, I went and shot new bows. Bought a 31.5 VXR that day. It’s real cool, but I think from now on I’m just going to shoot new bows every 3-4 years instead.

Exactly why I don't want to go shoot the VXR. I just bought a Vertix. Idk how i would Justify a new bow to the fiance after mine is not even a year old to me.
