I am currently running 10x42 Maven B.1's that I really like but am needing a ballistics solver for an upcoming elk hunt this fall. I have used the Sig 2400ABS which worked well, but the Vortex Fury HD 5000 AB comes in at a similar price point for the same Applied Ballistics program and also appears to have the same sensors in regards to temp, elevation, pressure, etc. What I am wondering is how much of a downgrade in optic clarity should I expect if I were to buy the Vortex binos and run a single optic vs having both the binos and the handheld RF to deal with. I would love to but the new Swaro's but this hunt is already going to cost me enough and that might be a hard sell to the wife. TIA

The Fury's come with Viper glass, per Vortex themselves (if I remember right, one of their reps told Jay Scott that on an episode of the Jay Scott Outdoors Podcast). So not terrible glass, but a tier lower than the B.1's for sure.
