Maven C1 vs C3?

Hello,

Since Maven has gotten such good reviews, I had my mind set on buying a pair of C1 10x42 set of binoculars. However, the C3 10 X 50 are now on sale for the same price. Which do you think i would be better off with?

I mostly treestand hunt for Whitetail, but am also planning a yearly elk hunt, as well. I also want them for general use, such as when boating, hiking, etc..

Of those two, I would go with the C1 in 10X42. Much more all around user friendly...... HOWEVER if I were buying, I would save up my pennies and get the B1's. A lot more glass for the money. In glass you really do get what you pay for.

Thanks elkguide - I thought that the 10X50 would be too big to lug around. I look into the B1 also, although I have a lot more gear to buy for this year!
