Had this scope for a little bit to test out but I think I'm going to stick with big eyes. Very comparable to the razor 65 mm spotting scope I had but this one has a touch more distortion at the far edges and I prefer the dual focus system on the razor.
Never taken in the field, only set up once on a tripod to take a picture of the moon. Glass is clean, comes with everything from the factory still in plastic.
Also throwing in a universal phonescope adapter I bought from amazon. It works well - I used it to take the photo of the moon posted below with the CS.1.
