Maven SHR or CRF mil

I have the crs.3 4-20x50-ffp shr mil and liking it alot. Looking at getting the RS3.2 wIth either the shr mil or cfr mil reticle. Im afraid the shr mil will be too thick past 18 power. Anyone with experience let me know thanks.
