Here's a nice pair of Meindl Hunter boots in size 11 D. These are great mountain boots with lots of support and a full rubber rand. Perfect for hunting sheep, mountain goats, and elk. They're in very good condition, with some thin cracking in the rubber rand. They're waterproof with a high gusset tongue. These retailed for $375 when I bought them, and I'm looking for $175 and we'll split the shipping.

Do you wear an 11 in other boots?I normally run a size 11 but I’ve seen meindl’s run a half size big. So in my case they’d suggest a 10.5. Not sure how much a difference that’d make

I wore 10.5 in just about everything since high school, and with thick hiking socks these 11s fit perfectly. I also have Meindl Ultralights and those do run big, but this pair runs true to size.

Ok one more question, are these the vakuum hunters? I see on their website it mentions foam that shapes to the individuals foot. So if these are well broken in, I’m wondering how well a different foot would fit them

apologies for the odd question, I just haven’t had meindl boots before and trying to decide if I want to go this route yet.

No these are not the Vakuum hunters, but they do have a really good insert that molds to your foot over time. Meindl sells those inserts on the side as well, and I've also used Super Feet in stone of my boots with good success.

Ok thanks, I’m going think for a bit if I want to drop the 140 and take a chance on the boots or not.
My old zamberlans have a few last breathes in them! But it may be time..

No worries, let me know what you decide! If I didn't have for surgery that now requires a bigger size, I'd wear these Meindls forever. As it is though, I just picked up some Zamberlan Wasatch 981s.

Thanks SmokinF15! If my feet hadn't changed size and shape in my foot surgery this year, I'd be keeping these Meindls for life. Incredible support for side hilling and bouldering.

Pretty sure these have 400g Thinsulate insulation. Most of my hunting is Alaska and Colorado and these boots have been good for me in temps down to the teens and 20s.
