Hunting next week, are the Antelope bunched up yet? Would general spot and stalk hunt strategy change much from early season? Any guidance would be welcome!

The tag I drew is a type -2, so the unit will already have been hunted quite a bit by the time I get there. I am hunting late to avoid some of the opening day pressure of 400+ doe and buck Pronghorn hunters in the general area.

Thank you.

From what I've seen they'll start to group up further along in october you get, especially with cold/snowy weather. Last weekend there was still plenty of rutting activity and typical herds with satelite bucks roaming. You'll see less of that by the day now and dominant bucks may pull off and doe groups may be accompanied by satellites later on. By the end of the month you'll see bigger herds with mixed buck and doe. Those can be neat because you can see multiple bucks at a time hanging out.

Just got back from wyoming on Tuesday. We saw herds of up to 30 with a few bucks, solo bucks, and everything in between.
