Thought I'd let folks here know about this rifle I saw yesterday. It's in mint condition. A Remington 788 (rear locking lugs) with a metal DBM in .308. I couldn't find anything wrong with it. Looks barely used. I know some guys go nuts about these old 788's, so I thought I'd pass it along. If I had the spare $ laying around, I'd probably buy it just to have. They are going for over $1K at online auctions lately.
