My wife won tickets to a free hot pilates class and to a hot yoga class. The pilates nearly killed me.... but when we did the yoga I'd never felt so loose in the last 10 years. Now whenever I go to my local gym I do stretches in the sauna and I found it helps keep me loose and mobile more than normal. I've heard something about the heat in the atmosphere does the muscles good and helps with elasticity a bit.

Defrancos video is great, thanks!

Chris S, what do you do for your shoulders?

Not a stretch, but I have crossover symmetry type bands I use at home. My shoulders feel stronger, more stable and better protected from injury when I'm consistently utilizing the bands. You can rig it up over a door or attach the bands to anything stable. They attach with small metal carabiners.

The absolute best resource for mobility is Kelly Starrett and Mobility WOD. Give that a google, he works wonders.

I second this. I’ve been following his stuff since 2012, he knows what he is talking about and wants to give people the knowledge to take care of themselves!
