Montana Non-Resident Help Needed

I'm not looking for a spot to hunt. I have a friend that's invited me to hunt his ranch and I am just confused on the process of applying for a cow elk tag. could someone that knows the process please pm me?

What unit? some are OTC. Some are draw units but typically have left over.

Just kidding. I have no idea how the NR stuff works. I do know your about out of time though. Call fwp and ask. They're very helpful with this stuff.
