Montana/Wyoming

Have preference point for both Montana and for Wyoming.
Which would you recommend to try to hunt elk first?
(draw odds/frequency to draw/which would be better to build up more points)

6 in one hand, half dozen in the other. I'd hunt whichever one you could get a tag in first. I think that will probably be MT since you are almost guaranteed a tag with 2 preference points (3 is maximum). Point creep is hitting in WY pretty hard from what I hear.
