Montbell Alpine Light vs Rab Microlight Alpine

Does anyone have a comparison between these two jackets?? I am leaning towards the Rab because of the 30 D and water resistant down but it is hard to find them in decent colors. I have heard rave reviews about Montbell and I can order the one I'd like today if I could get a comparison. Thanks for any help.

The microlight has I think 5.4oz of 700 fill power recycled down that is treated. The montbell has 4.8 but higher fill power at 800 fill but is not treated down. IMO having several Rab products it is hard to beat them for their hood, zip, cuffs, etc. They are going to be similar warmth but at 30D the Rab will be tougher. I've worn a 30D patagonia down sweater for years doing all kinds of stuff and don't have a single hole in it. The 20D won't be as tough. So you ask yourself what am I using it for? If its just for a puffy for glassing that goes back in the pack, then the montbell is hard to beat. If you want an all around tough down jacket then I'm for the Rab.
