I don't think the hovercraft is destined for any serious degree of popularity with the average Alaska resident hunter....some exceptions noted. These are expensive, complex rigs and require skill to operate. They're also noisy. Think of running a jet boat and air boat simultaneously. I've seen them in action and you can hear one coming a couple miles away. I can imagine a guiding / outfitting company deciding to use them, mainly because they open up the possibility of traveling across land to get to additional waterways, sloughs, marshes and so on.

Good news for we Alaskans as the Supreme Court curtails a bit of the Park Circus over-reach. I contributed funds to this cause and will again as Mr Sturgeon exhausted much of his own funds to fight this.
