Ok my wife drew a ND moose tag she got the bull tag, so she can shoot a cow or bull. Anyways we have plenty of land to hunt. But we are new to moose as a targeted animal. I call coyotes, deer hunt, and shoot prairie dogs for fun and practice. Anyways what tips and tricks of advice do you have for me? She’s going to shoot a 308win with 166g shock hammer bullets as long as they shoot good and I think they will. It currently is shooting 168g tmks with varget good. What do you recommend for calling or rattling? Time of day, over water holes? If we have any left has been a very dry summer/spring. Also any advice for meat care. We will have access to a loader tractor it’s on family land either family owned or rented. We are very lucky to draw the tag and more so to have the family with land. Any advice would be great thanks.
