Moose sheds in the Bighorns?

Anybody here attempt to shed hunt in the Bighorns? I’d like a moose shed or two for the house but no idea where to look. Not looking for specifics just a general idea of where to start. Sounds like they shed early but don’t want to push em in the winter, so thinking maybe March or April with the limited snow we’re getting this winter. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Not many responses... I’ve seen moose just below timberline in December, so based on that it seems you could find a paddle anywhere. I’ve never found one either

Id tell someone where a live animal was during season before id ever divulge where I found a shed or seen something on winter range.

Found one last year during archery elk up around 7000. Not a huge paddle,but the puppy loved it.
