MR guide lite vs MT frame

Wondering how much better the MT belt/lumbar is than the guide lite. Wayyyy back in the day i had Nice frame and it was comfortable, seemed to keep the weight on my hips. I tried a guide lite frame and couldnt even keep 45 lbs from sliding down. The MT looks pretty similar to the old Nice frame style belt and am thinking about giving it a try. Ive seen some comments that it isnt much different and isnt really worth the cost to upgrade. Whatcha guys think?

I upgraded last year. I would say the MT is a refinement but not a wholesale change. Couldn’t tell you any difference in feel from the shoulder straps and yoke. The belt is more padded and stays tight - one of my key peeves about my guide light frame.

IMO it carries better but I think fit is very personal. Like you, I preferred the NICE to the Guidelight. The MT belt feels like it works better than the guidelight.

PS - the molle on the belt is a nice touch.
