WTS/WTT MR Medium Guide Light Frame

I just bought a basically brand new used Pintler size medium and I love the pack. I’m kind of bummed though because I thought I measured myself correctly and required a medium frame, but now I believe I need a Small frame size. I have the yoke as short as it can go (18”), and when I position the top of my hip bones in the middle of the waste belt and snug all straps, I’ve got about a 1” gap under my shoulder straps to my shoulders. I’m 5’11” with a 32” waste and I do know that I have a short torso.

By chance does anyone have a Small Guide Light frame they’d be willing to sell or trade? Thanks

All you need to do is buy a size small yoke. You could check here but you can buy them direct from mystery ranch for $45 ish dollars I think.

If you haven't bought a small yoke yet, you have another option you could try. I had the same issue with my pintler and medium guide light frame. When it seems like you've bottomed out the adjustment on the yoke I've found you can actually slide it down almost another inch. If you feel the bottom of the sleeve the yoke slides down into theres actually more room for it to go down. It takes some playing with the velcro separator to get the yoke to slide in more but it can be done. Here's mine

I have a brand new small yoke for the guide lite frame. It's in subalpine. It's still in plastic. $30tyd or open to trades.
