MR Mountain Ruck for hunting pack

Hi everyone!

so I have an opportunity to get what looks to be a good deal (sub $300 for brand new) Mystery Ranch Mountain Ruck. I’ve been wanting a good hunting/camping pack and this seems like a great deal.

I’m also looking at the Beartooth 80, and looks like I can get that for about $80 more.

Any advice on this?

NICE frame with Mountain Ruck is 20 inches, so hard to get any load lift unless your torso is very short. Special order load lifters from MR run $80. Frame is also 2lbs heavier than Guide light MT. Also no load shelf feature. Will be indestructible, though.

Sierra Trading still has 50L Terraframe packs for $230 in medium. Look no farther if that size will fit you. GL frame with a decent bag.
