Split my limb on my MR5 today. Pulled her back and heard a sharp crack, I let down and inspected the limbs found a split on the bottom left limb. The really crappy part is the limbs are brand new. I had a limb fail 2 months ago. I am pretty bummed at the moment.

Sounds odd..... I had an MR6 last year, the limbs seemed to be pretty well made. I wasn't easy on them.....

Factory strings?

I have yet to see an MR series bow have a limb failure. Even on the dry fires I have seen the limbs have held up just fine. To have 2 on the same bow is odd. Not to say it can't happen just that it is very odd.

Yeah stock strings. First set of limbs got replaces because one day the bow started shooting way left. At full draw I had terrible cam lean. The bow shop said one of my limbs was starting to fail. I did not have a physical failure like today.

Just for the record the bow shop does all the work on the bow. I have never dry fired it. Honestly I treat it like a baby.

My setup is
