MRC

Just found an MRC rifle in left hand at a dealer here in Canada. I know the company shut their doors, and to many people to count have had a lot of problems with the customer service. My question is what can I expect for accuracy ? The model I bought is the ascent in stainless. It has a fairly light #2 contour barrel and an advertised weight of 5.5 pounds.; caliber is 308. I bought the rifle online.There is only one gun shop here in yukon so Ive actually never seen an MRC in person. Any info would be appreciated.

Man I have an extreme 2 in 25-06 that's a hammer with hand loads.

Accuracy is usually good to great with them. Where they had issues was in bolt binding on occasion and feeding.

Feeding is usually an easy fix with some polishing of feed rails or tweaking of the mag box.

Generally, they are good rifles, with a few quality issues popping up.
