MT alternate list

So I’m #110 on alternate list. I thought I’d have a good chance to get a tag but haven’t heard anything. Anybody get there alternate tag?

The alternate list for Montana is out, I’m at 260 what’s my chances of actually seeing a tag?

I’m number 35. Haven’t heard a word yet either. Praying that some guys drew tags else were and turn in their MT tag. I have zero out of the 4 draws I put in for. Good luck my friend.

Elk B tags ticked the other day, I went from 975 to 946. Not holding my breath but nice to see it move.

Nothing yet on my end on Elk combo. I’m number 35.

You would think they would want to work on the higher dollar Comb license before the antlerless tags, or at least do them at the same time. I haven't seen my combo # move yet.

My number for an Elk combo tag is 66. Was notified this morning by email.

I started at 392 on the 2023 Deer Combo ALT list and drew my tag on November 21st.

Here was the progress:

7/10: 392 of 2242
8/16: 278 of 2128
9/5: 234 of 2084
10/2: 191 of 2041
10/30: 60 of 1910
11/21: DRAWN!

With just a few days of season left I drove out and harvested my biggest mule deer ever on a piece of public land. Worth the wait!

That's awsome. Same thing for my brother and I were just before and just after your number. We didn't have much hope so we ended up doing a DIY CO archery hunt in Sept. If I would have known I would have been pulled I would have waited, but with 5-6 days left in the season its hard to drop everything and drive 13 hours to hunt 4-5 days on a moments notice.

Good job for being able to do it and capitalizing.

I wish they had a "Decline" button for people they offer tags to. Would speed the process up ten fold and the state wouldn't be rushing last minute to sell extra tags. This 1 week at a time thing isn't very efficient.
