Mt. House Pro Pak vs. Other Brands

A couple of questions....

1. Is the Pro Pak claim to not expand at higher altitudes legitimate and necessary for a climb to $10k feet?
2. What other brands are recommended vs. Mt. House that will not expand at higher altitudes?

I'd like to try some other meals / flavors given the pro pak selection for Mt. House is so limited.
