Good buddy of mine called the night before the application was due saying his dad dreamt that he drew a sheep tag that year, so he was going to apply for the first time. Sure as shit he drew the tag I told him to apply for. Don’t think he realizes what he has, but I told him he doesn’t have a choice, I’m taking him.

Yep. I hit it on 33 years. Next year might be it for you. I'd already drawn moose and goat, so I'm pretty happy to be able to hunt sheep before I'm too old.

I drew a ewe tag. Probably not that thrilling to most but its really the only thing that would draw me to the breaks, and I have an appetite for hunting new country. My pard and I have always talked about doing a hunt up there just to say we hunted the famed breaks. Probably silly to most but thats how we roll. Will try from a boat and with my bow to get the breaks experience. After that it'll be unlimiteds for me.
