MT Unit 300 RV Camping Options

Looking at going to Unit 300 for the first time and probably taking my RV Trailer for camping. The only RV lot I could find close was in Lima and they are booked. Question is are there options for dry camping with the RV on public property in this area? Looking at the maps looks like there is some BLM and State land I should be able to get my trailer into without to much trouble. Just wanted to double check that I am not overlooking something here in regards to this. Thank you.

You wont have any trouble finding a spot to park it and dry camp. You'll see plenty of others doing the same.

Clarks Canyon Resevoir has camping and there were lots of spaces available when I passed by it yesterday morning on my way home. I‘m pretty sure it’s dry camping, not sure if it’s close enough to where you’re planning to hunt.

Armisted RV park is just east of Clark Canyon. Ran by older and very nice couple.
