Hello everyone!
I want to up my scouting game over here in southern ID, trying to find some good spots now that I've moved away from the homelands (western ID) I'm starting fresh with this newer area.
I have heard of scent attractants to be of at least decent help especially if there are deer in the area. I figured to take those weekends and place scent spots around with trail cameras or whatever possible at the time to see where would be good places to start hunting since I'm starting fresh.
The bump I'm running into is most deer scents look like they are made for white tails where as I have mostly seen mule deer.
Anybody have thoughts or experience on using scents for scout help? Are there any specific mule deer scents? Will the whitetail scents work on both? (I know there are whitetails around Idaho)
