Being a treestand hunter I’ve always had a single pin. Do most use 5 or 7 out west shooting farther? Probably just personal preference but figured I’d ask.

What are y’all’s favorite 2-3 pin sliders. I need a new sight and think that would work well for me.

Outlier here:
Single pin regardless of geography or species. I like the simple sight view of single vertical pin/animal.

I admittedly can suffer from Multi Pin Confusion Disorder at crunch time on game so I abandoned the 3-5 pin sights years ago.

It is completely personal preference. At my shop we mostly sell 5 pin slider style sights from an assortment of brands. ( Black Gold, Spot Hogg, CBE, Rocky Mountain, Axcel) A lot of customers are beginning to question getting the 3 pin for a less cluttered sight housing. I am looking at going to a 5 pin from a 3 pin for hunting here out west. I advise people to set their pins 30-70 due to the rarity of getting a 20 yard shot in the desert.
