Muzzle brake question

I did some searching on the subject, reviews are mixed. My specific scenario. I have a Hells Canyon Speed in .270 Win that I’d like to take the brake off. I don’t feel I need it on this rifle and it absolutely piss pounds my ears. I’m sighted an inch high at 100 and probably won’t shoot past 200 with this gun. Will I notice any point of impact difference with the thread protector on in place of the factory brake? Before I try for myself. Thank ya’s.

Getting the same gun and interested in your experience. I assume that removal of the brake would adjust the POI.

Yes, there will be a shift. It might be anywhere from tiny to a couple of inches. I'd expect an inch on a thinner profile barrel. Might not be that much though.

Removing the brake changes the harmonics. Even if you replace it with a protector, it will be a little different than before.
