After striking out on CO high country muzzleloader deer this year I was able to get a CO pronghorn on Saturday. He wasn't the biggest one running around but he is pretty and I am happy with him. 45 yard hard quartering away shot with a 350 gr FPB put the wallop on him. Then I noticed the rest of the herd with a giant buck 50 yards to my right after the shot! We had some fresh backstrap in camp Saturday night and it was delicious! It's always a challenging hunt out there in the flat land in late October after they've been shot at a bunch. They get pretty skittish.

Nice. I just posted a question about muzzy antelope hunts. This thread shows me it can be done. Great buck!
