Nice... Bigeasygator! I ordered a Biki + HC 4800 bag in CB the other day. Ship date is July 02. I'm excited about it no doubt. I am currently running the standared TL2 in MC. Which I really like has well so it makes the waiting alittle easier. I already have 2 mid size and 1 large belt pocket and a grabit with a few other accessories. The biggest decision I had to make was CB or Foilage. Will have to see now the MC accessories will look on CB. Guess I don't care to much in making a fashion statement. I did receive my Mega tarp, Annex, and small stove a couple of weeks ago. Now with all the new snow here Colorado have to get out and try it out. Know did I mention the new bivy in Multicam. Who says Christmas comes but once a year? Enjoy your pack brother, nice pick.

Tom

Before they offered the multicam Highcamp I was going to do the CB with all MC accessories. If you run a few belt pockets, grabit, and lid it would be a lot of camo showing and not so much CB. I think it'll look great and part of me wishes I would've done that to give the pack a different look! Take some pics...of better yet don't so I don't regret my decision haha

OP, how tight did you have the hip belt?

Would you say he has the proper amount of padding wrapping around to the front?

I have the belt fairly snug, but not tight. If I had a full load I'd definitely have to cinch it down some more. From my experience this is the appropriate amount of padding. I think they are called hip belts for a reason. I'm not trying to be condescending when I say that...just that I think the padding is more for your hips than it is for your entire waistline. I know I used to think the same thing about the Kifaru packs compared to some others. I've found that having the padding on your hips and not all the way around is more comfortable and provides a better fit.

So many choices! Also went with the black biki and black Nylike webbing and k-hooks on the pack. You made a great choice!

Any way you could take some pics with the bag filled out using clothes/blanket etc. Looking good though!

Here's a few. I added two lash straps as well. Between those and the built in straps that attach the pack to the frame you can really lash this thing down. There's two big pillows in the pack and there's room at the top so it's probably not the best indication of how big the pack can get.

I was just looking at them but I didn't see anything on belt length. Which video in particular should I look at? I'm worried I'm going to be in between sizes and the first thing I want to check when mine shows up is the belt fit. Except I don't really know how it should fit. :)

Tim has it right. When the hip belt is as tight as you can humanly get it, but you still have around two inches of "slack," you know that it fits correctly.

I like to wear by hip belt a little higher than most. The hip pads are about an 1-1.5" higher than centered over the points of my hips and the belt is dead center over my belly button.
