I checked the level and 3rd axis was so close to perfect on my bow I never worried about it. I’d just shim it on the riser if it was out. Easy enough to cut shims from shim stock.
Oh I don’t disagree. This project was just done for the average guy coming in my buddies shop and picking off the shelf. I’m also working on lists of items an weights so people can cherry pick to cut some fat.

on a side note- if you wanted a different lighter sight- before the invention of the third axis old school archers would just shim the sight off of the riser.
I agree and I’ll be listing sights that are lighter with out certain features. I just wanted to show a stock bow with all the bells and whistles that stayed under 5 pounds with no modifications

Thank you for sharing. A fun read! Dave Stoddard at Full Curl Anchorage is one great dude. I got to spend some time with him at the shop and setting up for the hunting season...very experienced and always willing to help!
