I decided to move away from the Dual unit and go another direction as far as using a binocular and a separate rangefinder unit. Was able to sell my Nikon Lazerforces.

I was looking at the 800-1k area of binoculars were there are tons of good options. Long story short, held out, did some shopping, added a small amount to the budget and picked up the following:

Swarovski EL 10X42 (2006 model - like new condition) Leica 1600b (Like new condition) I feel like this will be a good step up and should do everything I need them too. Should have both in my hands in the next 4-5 days.

I also prefer separate units. I like being able to carry binoculars that are appropriate to the terrain rather than always carrying my one dual unit.

Yeah, that's a nice set up. You can shift your focus to something else now, you wont need to address optics for a long while.

“Shift your focus” ... lol I see what you did there! 😂

Nice set up, wish I had some swaros.
