My wife was able to tag out in the last day she had to hunt. She made an incredible, offhand shot at about 120 yards, when we bumped them out of the timber. The pack wasn’t too bad, a little under 2 miles. From the time she hit the ground until everything was loaded in the truck was about 8 hours. Packing elk in crusted snow isn’t much fun, but well worth it!
