Mystery Ranch belt size

I am looking at getting the Scapegoat 35. The largest waistbelt they have is listed as 34-39 inches. I wear 40 inch waist jeans. My measurement at belly button is 46 inches. Just wondering if the waiststrap will be long enough. If anyone has a 34-39 inch belt and could tell me, I would appreciate it!

I wear a 40 Jean's also and have the xl belt on a Metcalf. There isnt alot of room left but it fits. If you are really worried you can order a xxl belt straight from MR.

Thank you badshot. I dont know if they have that option for the scapegoat belt. They are a different belt than the external frame packs. I may have to wait and call them on Monday.

I do know that the xl on the scapegoat fits the same as I tried both on locally and picked the Metcalf just do to my needs. I assumed they'd make the xxl.

Thanks again badshot. I have the selway with the new guide lite mt 40+ belt, and it is just right for heavy clothing. Thats why I wasnt sure about the Scapegoat 36-39.
