Mystery Ranch belt size

Hello, I ordered the large in my frame and it’s borderline small with a jacket/vest etc.

Can anyone tell me how much bigger the xl is or are the straps just longer?

curious if the part that is padded is much longer from the large to the extra large?

I had the Guideline MT with the XL waist belt, marked 39+.
The padded portions, stretched out flat, measured only 34 inches tip to tip. The nylon straps added another 10 inches per side.
I wear 40 jeans, and the padded portion just didn't wrap the front of my hips enough.

I did call Mystery Ranch to see if they had longer pads, but they didn't.
They offered to send me strap extensions, but that wasn't my problem.

Thank you! That’s what I was wondering. I have plenty of strap but the padded part doesn’t come around much on my sides. Thanks
